Chandigarh Police ASI Recruitment 2023: Online applications are invited for direct recruitment to 44 Temporary posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive) under Group C

भारत के केंद्र शासित प्रदेश चंडीगढ़ में कानून और व्यवस्था बनाए रखने, अपराधों को रोकने और उनका पता लगाने और सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए जिम्मेदार है। विभाग चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन के सीधे नियंत्रण और पर्यवेक्षण के तहत काम करता है

Eligibility Age as of 15.06.2023:

• 18-25 years (General Category)
• 18-28 years (OBC Category)
• 18-30 years (SC Category)

Minimum Educational Qualification:

• Graduation or its equivalent from any recognized university.

Computer Skills:

• ICT course is mandatory at entry level as per instructions issued by the Chandigarh
• Course on Computer Concepts (CCC)

Driving Skills:

• Male Candidates only: a valid driving license to drive both, two-wheelers and four-wheelers vehicles are mandatory for male candidates of all categories as of the date of submission of the online application.

Application Fee:

• Un-Reserved – Rs. 1000/-
• Other Backward Class/EWS – Rs. 1000/-
• Scheduled Caste – Rs. 800/-
• Ex-Serviceman – Exempt
• Note: Collection charges or processing fees charged by the bank, payable by the candidates shall be in addition to the application fee as above payable to Chandigarh Police ASI Recruitment 2023.

Selection Process

• Single Examination of two hours 
• Two Tiers
• Tier I – OMR Sheet-Based Test (50 Marks)
• Tier II – Written Test (50 Marks)

PE&MT stands for Physical Efficiency & Measurement Test.

Candidates who pass the written test and are shortlisted will thereafter undergo PE&MT in accordance with the minimum requirements given below:-

Bonus Marks

(i) In line with the instructions of Govt. of India, incentives for NCC Certificate
holder will be granted in the form of marks as under:- 

• NCC “C” Certificate  5% of the maximum marks of the examination
• NCC “B” Certificate  3% of the maximum marks of the examination
• NCC “A” Certificate  2% of the maximum marks of the examination

(ii) Weightage will be given to the Candidate in the form of ‘Marks’ who is a Graduate of the Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Gandhinagar (Gujrat). This additional mark will be provided @2% of the total marks to Graduates of RRU.
